Multi-Functional Extractors

Eagle’s Multi-functional Extraction Tanks serve as the core equipment in botanical extraction processes, specifically designed for efficiently processing various plant materials including roots, stems, leaves, flowers, and fruits. The system supports multiple solvents such as water and ethanol, and integrates automated functions including heating, reflux, and stirring. Through precise temperature control, it enables efficient active ingredient extraction while significantly reducing solvent consumption. Constructed with GMP-compliant stainless steel, the tanks ensure structural integrity and consistent batch-to-batch compliance, making them ideally suited for natural extract production in pharmaceutical, health food, and cosmetic industries.

Wide Use of Extractors

Extractors are core equipment in industrial production. They are used to separate and extract target active ingredients (such as active substances, essences, pigments, oils, etc.) from solid raw materials (e.g., plants, Chinese medicinal materials, minerals) or semi-solid raw materials through the infiltration, dissolution, and diffusion of solvents (e.g., water, ethanol, organic solvents). They are widely applied in multiple fields including pharmaceuticals, food, health products, and chemical engineering.

Work Principle

Raw Material and Solvent Input

Add raw materials (e.g., herbal slices) and extraction solvent (water, ethanol, etc.) into the tank. Soak as required to fully moisten the raw materials.

Heating

Heat by introducing steam (or hot water) into the outer jacket, raising the temperature of the mixture in the tank to the set value.

Steam Generation and Condensation

After the mixture boils, low-boiling components (e.g., volatile oil, solvent vapor) form secondary steam, which enters the condensation system through pipes and cools to liquid.

Component Separation

Treat the condensed liquid as needed — when containing volatile oil, it enters the oil-water separator for stratification by density difference, and the upper volatile oil is collected; pure solvent can be refluxed to the tank or sent to the recovery system.

Dynamic Circulation Extraction

Due to the concentration difference between the upper and lower extracts in the tank, circulation (pumped from the bottom to the top) is achieved through the bottom filter and pump, strengthening the contact between raw materials and solvent and accelerating the dissolution of active ingredients.

Product Types

Inverted Conical Extractor
Upright Conical Extractor
Cylindrical Extractor

Product Feature

Innovative Inverted Cone Design

The inverted cone shape eliminates slag bridging, no manual intervention required; promotes raw material tumbling for more uniform extraction.

Upgraded Bottom Cover

Enlarged bottom cover area expands the filtration zone, reducing the risk of blockage during circulation and liquid discharge.

Intelligent Segmented Heating

Segmented automatic control heating prevents bumping; flexible feeding quantity avoids dry pot and wall sticking.

Independent Bottom Heating

Equipped with a bottom heating device; only the bottom heating is turned on during boiling maintenance, preventing bumping and saving energy.

Multi-Process Compatibility

Supports multiple processes such as water extraction, ethanol extraction, and reflux extraction, adapting to different solvents and raw materials.

Precise Automatic Control

Equipped with a PLC system for precise adjustment of parameters like temperature and pressure; some models support remote operation.

Hygienic and Compliant Manufacturing

Made of 304/316L sanitary stainless steel with polished inner walls, meeting standards such as GMP.

Efficient Solvent Recovery

Integrated recovery device with solvent recovery rate ≥90%, eco-friendly and cost-saving.

Relative Products

Multi-Effect Water Distiller

Multi-effect water distiller adopted the purified water as the feed water, produced WFI (water for injection) by heating industrial steam. Eagle’s LDS series Multi Effect Still adopted the purified water as the feed water, produced WFI by heating industrial steam. The product satisfies the requirement of USP,EP and JP.

Water Storage & Distribution System

Eagle skid-mounted assemblies integrate all monitoring instruments and control devices for the WFI distribution system into a compact unit, which is fully assembled and integrated with a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) system.

CIP & SIP

Our Cleaning in Place (CIP)/Sterilizing in Place (SIP) systems are engineered to your specific application, facility layout and utility requirements for effective and efficient sanitary process equipment and process pipings cleaning in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, nutraceutical and personal care industries.
