1. Verify Business Registration Directly

Don’t rely on the company name printed on a quotation or Alibaba storefront. Cross-check the registered legal entity name against China’s National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System (国家企业信用信息公示系统). This tells you the actual registered name, incorporation date, registered capital, and legal representative — information that’s easy to overstate in marketing materials but hard to fake in official filings.

2. Confirm the Factory Address Matches the Marketing Claims

Many suppliers reference an impressive factory size or a decades-long manufacturing history in their company profile. Ask for the factory’s registered address and cross-reference it with satellite imagery or a third-party factory audit. A supplier claiming a 60,000+ sqm facility should be able to produce this without hesitation.

3. Verify Certifications With the Issuing Body, Not the Supplier

GMP, CE, ISO 13485, and pharmacopeia compliance (CP/USP/EP) certificates should be verifiable directly through the issuing body’s public database — not just a PDF the supplier emails you. Certificates can be outdated, scoped to different product lines, or in rare cases, fabricated.

4. Request a Live or Recorded Factory Audit

A short video walkthrough of the actual production floor, welding stations, and quality control area tells you more in five minutes than any brochure. Reputable manufacturers with genuine capacity are generally willing to provide this.

5. Understand the Group’s Operating Entities — Especially in Weifang, Shandong

Weifang has a long industrial history in pharmaceutical equipment manufacturing, tracing back to a state-owned factory established in 1958. 7. Use Trade Assurance or Escrow Payment Terms

For a first order, use Alibaba Trade Assurance, a Letter of Credit, or an escrow arrangement rather than full advance payment by wire transfer.
